It was great finally getting to meet Bee offline! In RL she is exactly the same as her online persona – warm, funny, thoughtful and smart. Would have been happy to hang out for a week.
Why I want to meet josiefraser
I met Josie virtually through James Farmer at the time she started helping him organize the Edublogs Awards. I also invited her to be a guest speaker at the Blogstreams Salon last year and we have been viewing each other’s photos on Flickr.
I hope I can meet her f2f when I go to London after Easter. Will you be around, Josie? It would be fantastic if we could organize something.
A story about James Farmer
I met James last year (2005) when he was over in the UK visiting his dad. I basically organised a blog event on the pretext of meeting him. We ended up in some Mongolian bar. I got drunker than I have been in recent memory and remember James walking me off a dance floor in one bar and across the road into another at one point. On the train home the next day I was sick.
Seemed like a great bloke though.
One thing you probably didn't know about josiefraser
She has a great movie blog called “A girl and a gun”. I’ve no idea where the title for that comes from, but I like it…
